The 3rd Online Auction of Bodó Gallery and Auction House welcomes collectors and visitors interested in art between 20–31 March 2026. The selection, featuring nearly two hundred lots, spans from classical masters of the 19th century to modern and post-war artists of the 20th century. The material offers a diverse cross-section of different movements within Hungarian and Central European art.
Bidding takes place exclusively online on the Axioart platform and continues until 31 March 2026. However, the lots can also be viewed in person at the chamber exhibition of Bodó Gallery and Auction House between 20–31 March 2026.
The selection includes several noteworthy works that clearly reflect the stylistic and historical diversity of the auction. Among the lots is a painting by August von Pettenkofen, one of the well-known figures of 19th-century Austrian–Hungarian painting, as well as a Budapest cityscape by Ervin Körmendi Frim, evoking the urban atmosphere of the turn of the century. For those interested in modern Hungarian art, the works of János Balázs are particularly exciting, representing the distinctive and expressive world of one of the most characteristic figures of Hungarian naïve painting.
The selection also features paintings by Géza Vörös and István Mácsai, while a work by Ede Telcs represents the tradition of classical Hungarian sculpture. Admirers of cityscape painting will also encounter a lyrical work by Erzsébet Hikádi within the auction material.
Overall, the material of the 3rd Online Auction presents a varied and collector-oriented selection ranging from classical masters to modern artistic movements.
